Book Review: A Week To Be Wild by J.C. Harroway

February 19, 2018

Olivia is a Successful Modern Woman. With her own boutique marketing firm in New York, she has everything in her life firmly under control. And a wild fling with adrenaline junkie Alex Lancaster is very definitely not in her plans.

Alex is an absolute charmer. A billionaire, he’s not cut from the same mold as a lot of the ‘alpha billionaire’ romance heroes; he’s more a maverick, a free thinker. Both he and Libby have personal tragedies in their past, but Alex has found a healthy outlet to assuage his survivor’s guilt in the form of a charity he is passionate about. It’s opening up about this which shows Libby he’s for real, and it makes for a very believable relationship growing between them as they both slowly expose their inner vulnerabilities.

And oh my. This was a HOT ONE. While the romance grows steadily, the steam is there from very early on; Libby is completely in command of her sexuality and Alex finds that ridiculously hot. Harlequin DARE are really going for it on the sensuality stakes with this new range, so maybe don’t read this one in public if open-door bedroom scenes make you blush, or you’ll be answering some awkward questions!

Five stars for a hot read with some fantastic character development and a very believable romance.

A Week To Be Wild is available now.
