Book Review: The Mechanic by V.T. Charbonneau

Caitlyn Lynch

One look at the cover model and I was hooked, honestly. I mean, who wouldn't be? Mmm mmm.

The story lives up to the promise of the cover. When Lila's motorbike breaks down in a remote town, she's at the mercy of the local mechanic. Sam turns out to be not only competent, but gorgeous - and a nice guy, too, because Lila's skanky ex has done her a Bad Turn.

The chemistry between Sam and Lila is scorching hot from the first moment, and it's all too believable when they absolutely can't keep their hands off each other. The erotic scenes are incredibly well written - this is the kind of read where you might have to take a break in the middle for a cold shower, if you get my drift!

The Mechanic is a fantastic work from a new author in the genre, and I am very much looking forward to seeing what V.T. Charbonneau has in store for us next!

5 well-deserved stars!
